Based in Waxhahachie , Texas , the band started in the late 60;s with Dave, Doyle and Warner as a power trio until the 70's and they reunited in 2009 and added 2 powerful lead singers , John and Jena Caddell and Bob Landis on guitar and vocals and Bob Magier on keybords and vocals .They play a variety of songs all containing and combination of great lead vocals , male and female with powerful harmonies , soulful guitar and keybooard solos and creative arrangements, keeping true to the original artists renditions on classics and adding some of their own flavor to the older tunes.

What comes to mind when you hear the term “wedding bandâ€? For them, it’s corny matching outfits, groan-inducing jokes, and unholy “traditions†with cute little names like “The Chicken Dance†and “Macarenaâ€.

If we’re going by stereotypes, IDT would fail conclusively as a wedding band. So why have they become one of the most in-demand entertainment acts in North Texas over the past four years? Because IDT knows the difference between cool and lame. Comprised of five “kids†(all of average marrying age), they have a good idea of what appeals to their generation, and they have perfected a show that makes the guests WANT to stay, and unable to stop dancing. Every couple wants the same thing for their wedding reception, and it’s never for it be a litany of traditional events while guests stand around and clap politely.
