My open design [approximately 4000 sq. ft. heated space] upscale custom lakefront home is near Bushkill falls and Shawnee ski resort in PA [Bushkill, PA 18324]. It has 4 bedrooms & 4 full bathrooms [only the master bath an attached bathroom].
The first floor of the house is mostly an open space [not separated by any doors] consisting of a very large family room with an extra-large arched lake view window & a French door. There is an adjacent sitting area and another smaller living room on the first floor and also a separate dining area and kitchen with modern appliances. In addition, there is another large kitchen in the finished walk-out basement with modern appliances. The basement is also an open area with two windows and a large French door. It has central heat & ac. This area can be used as the fourth bedroom. I had one outdoor wedding & indoor reception with about 100 guests & also hosted many large parties in my home.
In the backyard there is a small attached deck and a detached deck [about 600 sq.ft.], a red concrete patio [400 sq. ft.] and about 3000 sq. ft. flat land near the lake. I once got a tent pitched in the cemented patio. Several photographs of the house and backyard can be found at http://sdrv.ms/177L9Ux . If the web link does not show up, I can email the photos.
The important feature of the house is (a) Core guests not exceeding 15, can sleep at night [e.g., one king, one queen, one double, two twin beds, one pull out sofa & two pull out twin beds & a few air mattresses]. (b) two whirlpool tubs [one for a couple and another for a single person] and two fireplaces are there. (c) With minor modifications my property can be made more useful for larger gathering. For example, about 3000 sq. ft. land near the lake can be leveled to pitch a tent. Moreover, I already have arrangement [e.g., two stove with ovens [one gas, one electric], large pots and pans, more than 10 large two burners rectangular stainless steel chaffing dishes, serving spoons, tongues etc., two refrigerators, one upright freezer, regular sinks in the kitchens and one utility sink in the garage etc.] for preparing, storing, and serving food for about 40 guests with minimal outside rental equipment. In fact, with our own equipment we usually cook many exotic Indian dishes with help of unskilled daily labors while entertaining our guests, which sometime exceeds 40.
My association [Saw Creek Estates] has many amenities including free ski lift, indoor & outdoor swimming pool, tennis court, basketball court etc., which your guests can enjoy with six free passes & $5 per additional pass. The association will not have any objection in gatherings as long as they don’t create disturbances to the neighbors. My house is located in a secluded section of the community. In the back it has a lake and in the front there is a wooded hill, on one side there is a vacant land and on the other side there is a house with an absentee owner. Five cars can be parked in my driveway and about ten on nearby street side, more parking spaces can be arranged in consultation with the association.
I realize that you may not need my space immediately. However, I request your favor to conduct an onsite inspection and suggest me those potential modifications which would suit your need. Also, I can e-mail you the floor plan, if you are initially interested. I can be contacted at 570-588-5814 or 570-431-0666.
Regards.
