I offer a great line of homemade products that inspired my phrase that I use ..... "just a few of my favorite things". Baking is quickly becoming a lost art because of our busy world we live in. Most people pick up their baked goods at local super markets that mass produce their products. In that process is lost that unmistakable taste that many of us grew up on …. That homemade taste, the taste that the person making it loved the people who they were serving it to. That taste cannot be reproduced in those large commercial bakeries that produce tens of thousands of cookies, pies, and cake. However, I feel in my bakery that I am capable of creating that homemade item that not only looks good, but taste even better.
I have been baking for almost 30 years now and after hearing time and time again that I should start my own bakery, well here I go. I am currently baking out of my home kitchen, thanks to the new law passed on 9/1/11, giving home bakeries the ability to bake and sell out of their houses.
