Shaarey Tikvah has a 4000 square foot social hall, a 400 seat sanctuary with a large, drop down screen good for movies or presentations. ST also has an Atrium lobby and classrooms that may be available for short term rental.
A learning community, Shaarey Tikvah offers The Open Dor Academy (tm) for children from toddler through 6th grade and classes for B'nai Mitzvah students. There is an active Sisterhood, Men's Club, Worship committee and Senior Cafe that all provide educational and fun events and experiences.
Congregation Shaarey Tikvah is also the home of A Kosher Taste of Cleveland. This annual fundraiser brings 6-10 local chefs to ST in mid-May to prepare entrees and appetizers using only Kosher ingredients prepared in ST's Kosher kitchen. Live music and auction. Tickets go on sale in February each year and has been known to sell out by mid-April.
The Face-to-Face program is housed at ST. Face-to-Face brings thousands of local middle and high school students to the synagogue for a three hour Holocaust Education program consisting of talks, a Museum, and a Holocaust survivor or second generation survivor who relates their story to the students.
