Sam gained national recognition as a finalist on American Idol's Season 13 where he placed in the Top 5. His performances and recordings have obtained millions of views and Sam receives tremendous support from his fan club, the “WOOLFPACK,” on social media. Sam's debut critically acclaimed EP Album “Pretend” produced by Grammy-winner Danny Blume was released independently in 2014 and debuted at #9 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart. Recently, Sam released more music on iTunes and YouTube.
Sam co-headlined with the Doobie Brothers, War, and Jefferson Starship, opened twice for We The Kings, and has performed extensively at public and private venues in Florida. JJJ plays regularly in jazz clubs in Western Massachusetts, and recently opened the NORTHAMPTON JAZZ FESTIVAL on September 6, 2013 with a concert at The Iron Horse Music Hall. We will again open the 2014 Fest on September 5, 2014 at The Horse with The Charles Neville Jazz Quartet. Our group has members between 21 and 55 years of age and all are veteran, accomplished players. We play entire weddings--cocktail hour, dinner music, and a dance set. We've also played a single jazz set for the cocktail hour only. We play corporate events and private parties as well.
We have the flexibility to play as a duo--Guitar and Piano; as a trio--Guitar, Piano, Acoustic Bass; as a quartet or as a quintet--our standard, and preferred configuration.
