We are NOLA Wax Hands and started making wax hands in 2012 at the Shrimp and Petroleum Festival in Morgan City.
We have an interactive craft in which we make a mold of the patron's hand in wax. It's fun and it only takes a few minutes. Deciding which hand gesture if the first step, then, we chill the hand...then we start dipping the hand in melted wax. We chill the hand between layers. The mold is easily removed by just sliding it off. The hand is dipped in colored wax of the patron's choice. One can do a single hand, or use both to make a heart, or praying hands. We can even do more than one person at a time. A party can get pretty creative making wax hands, it's fun and a memorable experience.
We do PARTIES, Sweet Sixteens, Weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Summer Camps, Corporate Events, Grand Opening, Holiday Events, Restaurant /Bar Events, Family Reunions, Church Functions, Second-line Events, Crawfish Boil/Crab/Shrimp Boils, Crawfish Cook Offs, Barbecue Cook Offs
