I started taking pictures in 2008. When I look at the world thru my camera, I love discovering quiet beauty in unexpected places and everyday moments. I am very fascinated by people, their stories of what moves and motivates them. I tend to notice moments, glances and connections that is what caused me to be hooked on photography.
There is nothing more gratifying as a photographer than to take pictures that families will love for many generations. The photos from your session tell a story that is unique to you and your family and highlights who and what you are in that moment in time. Your portrait session is not a run of the mill experience. Don’t expect to be done is 20 minutes, your photos will be special and no two sessions are exactly alike because each session reflects the client themselves. I believe that photographs are frozen moments in time and when you look at them they should stir up emotion deep within your soul.
Thou I take being a photographer very serious. I think that life is to short to take yourself to serious. So be sure to live, love and laugh as much as possible but most important, capture as much of your special moments as possible in photographs.
The location of where we shoot your session is one of the most critical elements in the process of creating a look you will love. I primarily shoot outdoors and work with natural light. I love to photograph in variety of locations including in fields, on farms, historical sites, parks and railroad tracks. Together we will work on picking the best location for your session. This depends on the look you are going for.
