  • Carrot Salad: Create an orange theme with a carrot salad for adults. Make this easy and delicious Halloween recipe for a lunch or dinner party. Shred between eight and ten carrots and then stir in about a cup of mayonnaise. Sprinkle raisins on top to create a delicious black and orange Halloween salad. Serve cold or at room temperature to your Halloween guests.
  • Mummy Hot Dogs: Transform an all-time kids’ favorite, “Pigs in a Blanket,” into a delicious Halloween recipe. Create mummy hot dogs with an 11oz can of breadstick dough or crescent roll dough, eight hot dogs, and a handful of black mustard seeds. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Wrap each hot dog in dough to resemble a mummy. Leave an open space at the top for the mummy’s eyes. Make two small cuts in the open space, and place mustard seeds inside to create the eyes. Put the mummy hot dogs on an ungreased baking sheet and bake the yummy treats for 15 minutes. Serve ketchup (blood) as a condiment on the side.
  • Pumpkin Carrot Platter: For an easy Halloween party recipe, create a pumpkin carrot platter. Purchase a bag or two of baby carrots and spread them out on a circular platter. Place vegetable dip in two small square ramekins and one triangular ramekin. Position the square ramekins as the pumpkin eyes on the platter and the triangular ramekin as the pumpkin nose. Create a pumpkin mouth with cut up pieces of zucchini. Put a piece of broccoli at the top of the platter for the pumpkin stem. Viola, your pumpkin carrot platter is complete!
  • Baked Tomatoes: Serve baked tomatoes for a spooky and colorful Halloween flavor explosion. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Slice the tops off of some medium sized tomatoes and make a slight indentation. In each indentation, put a half teaspoon of butter, a teaspoon of brown sugar, and salt and pepper to taste. Bake the tomatoes until you see the skin start to split.
  • Orange Sorbet: Serve orange sorbet with a black raspberry sauce for dessert. Heat the raspberries in a double boiler with a little bit of butter and some honey (to taste) until the mixture is mushy. Strain through a sieve to remove the seeds and to make sure that the sauce is smooth. Serve the black raspberry sauce warm over a few scoops of orange sorbet for a delicious black and orange dessert!
